The deep beautiful bay located in the south part of island Dugi otok, one of the biggest on the east Jadran. Bay is long 10km and 160 – 1800m broad. It has couple of amazing long sand beaches with sand ground. In the bay is couple of islands – Donji and Gornji Skolj, Farfarikulac, Kalina... The north part is mostly without vegetation; in south part are beautiful pines trees, olive trees and fig-trees.
Lake Mir in right next to the bay, it’s water is more salty and warmer than in the sea – surface 0,23 km2. The rocks peaks of the mountains (Grpascak) separate lake from the sea. Telascica is one of the most beautiful places at Jadran. Telascica was originally part of NP Kornati, presently is a protecting national area.
